Central Bath - Broad Quay

Maximize your time in Bath and enjoy an alternative perspective on a cruise on the Avon River. On a vintage 1960s boat, you’ll cruise into the centre of Bath to see the impressive Pulteney Bridge and Weir, then downstream, refresh with lunch (own expense) in The Locksbrook Inn, a welcoming establishment which first served Barge workers in 1728. This is a small-group tour with limited passengers to ensure an intimate atmosphere.

After making your own way to Broad Quay Moorings, located on the river beside Avon Street Car Park, greet your skipper and climb aboard your boat, a vintage 1960s cruiser.

Make yourself comfortable in the covered saloon, join your skipper in the cockpit, or, if the sun is shining, relax with the cockpit roof off. The skipper would be happy to give you information about the Rivers history and its link to the success of Bath. During the cooler days we have a real fire stove which will keep you cosy and warm !

On arrival at the Locksbrook Inn, you’ll have the chance to purchase classic dishes and alcoholic drinks. Spend a while soaking up the pub’s warm atmosphere before you return to the boat, where tea and coffee or a cold refreshment is available free of charge.

Your tour concludes at your original departure point at Broad Quay Moorings.
